I am not Famous

I am not Famous

I am here but one day I won't be.

There will be nothing left of me.

I will be gone and nobody will remember me.

It might take one generation.

It may take a few.

- but I will be forgotten.

The photos I take will stay here on the internet

and on my hard drive.

Maybe they will appear on a few walls

before being thrown in the trash.

Maybe just one might lead to something.

It may lead to love.

It may lead to happiness.

It may lead to joy.

To kindness

To peace

To life

My hope is that the time I put into these photos

leads to the growth of ideas.

I hope they lead to the smiles and long term happiness

that we all deserve.

To the people I have captured: I love you.

The way you look;

The way you express yourself;

The way you experience life;

You show me that there are other lives to be living;

Other lives to continue sharing.

To the light I see before me: You keep me alive.

You keep me seeing;

You keep me exploring;

You keep me sharing;

I want to show you to the world

so others may feel what I do.

I dream of a day where my images of the southwest

find those searching for life.

Searching for a new adventure;

just as I have found here.

I shoot to show the world;

There is life everywhere.

Emotion everywhere.

Light EVERYWHERE.

See my images as an inspiration to see something different.

They may not be your style.

They may not be to your liking.

They may show something you don't generally care about.

But just try to find one thing.

One thing that is calling to you.

Where does the idea lie in your mind?

What does it remind you of?

Who does it remind you of?

What bothers you?

Why might it bother you?

Dig deeper.

All I want is to share the light of the world,

So others may find something they need,

So I might be valid in my feelings,

So we may inspire others.

TO SEE THE WORLD IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT.

I am not famous.

But I deserve to be heard.

We all do.
